Iberdrola Hydrogen Compressor in Puertollano
The Iberdrola project in Puertollano is one of Europe’s most advanced initiatives for the production of green hydrogen , integrating solar power, batteries and industrial-scale
electrolysers . It is operational, partly funded by the EU, and supplies green hydrogen to the Fertiberia plant, which uses it to replace traditional hydrogen obtained from natural gas for the production of low-emission ammonia and fertilisers
